Background:
Mark was born and raised in East Peoria, Illinois of humble beginnings to Great parents. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Marketing. He met the love of his live in 1987 and married Karen in 1988. They are blessed with two wonderful boys, Jonathan and Joel. May 1, 1999 was a huge wake-up call for Mark when he experienced a stroke.
He was a sales representative for Lyon Metal Products for 17 ½ years and became the owner of Peoria Awning in August 2008.
Hobbies:
Reading and watching my two boys compete in sports. He loves to watch baseball in person; his favorite team, the St. Louis Cardinals.
His favorite book:
The Bible and anything associated with Abraham Lincoln.
If I had to do it over again…
I would have met and married my wife, Karen, earlier in life.
